Signature Summer Dish of the Day: Stir-fried Beef


Stir-fried beef with sauteed onions, tomatoes, carrots, and green beans

Ingredients
Lean, stir-fry beef, cut into straw-like pieces and washed
1/2 Onion, diced
 1 Tomato, chopped
3 Carrots, chopped 
1 cup Green beans
1 cup  Sweet peas
Vegetable or olive oil
Black pepper
Garlic powder

Cooking Instructions
  1. In a large pan, pour in the lean beef with a little bot of water, season with pepper and garlic (or other seasoning of choice). Let it simmer until all water evaporates, beef turns to dark brown color, and slightly coats pan
  2. Pour in some oil, then add tomatoes and onions while stirring thoroughly
  3. Add in the sweet peas and green beans and continue stirring while adding a bit of water to prevent excessive coating
  4. Add in salt and carrots about 7 minutes before turning off the heat
  5. Serve as a side with rice or other dish as desired. Serves up to 5.
