Honorary Dish of the Day: Chicken Sausage & Egg Scramble
Honorary Dish of the Day: Brighten up your breakfast or brunch with this scrumptious Chicken Sausage and Egg Scramble! This is one of the ways I jazz up my regular scrambled egg recipe...quick, easy, and finger-licking good! For this recipe, I simply sliced up some store-bought chicken sausage into about 1-inch circular chunks, fried them in about 2 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil in a small skillet, and allowed them cook for about 5 minutes under medium heat while flipping from time to time until they acquired the golden brown hue pictured above. I then added in scrambled eggs seasoned with a dash of salt, black pepper, and paprika, and mixed thoroughly to prevent the eggs from coating the bottom of the pan. Cooks in a mere 10 minutes and goes perfectly well as a side dish with regular toast. Enjoy!
