Signature Dish of the Day: Spaghetti & Sausage Sauté
Signature Dish of the Day: Happy Friday! This mouth-watering Spaghetti & Sausage Sauté is our star dish of the day today and a great way to cap off an amazing week! Smooth, luscious, heart-warming, rich in flavor, and just downright deliciously good...homemade spaghetti ranks highly as one of the absolute best comfort foods in my cooking hall of fame. Plus, the fact that it's also very easy to make is just the cherry on top of an already long and endless list of accolades. As with many pasta-based cuisines, I am always looking for ways to elevate my spaghetti-based meals. Hence, for this recipe, I sautéed some delicious, lightly pan-fried chicken sausages with red onions, tomatoes, sweet mini red peppers, and yellow zucchini before stirring in my boiled spaghetti to create this scrumptious stir-fry. I seasoned my base mixture with a medley of spices including about 1 teaspoon each of salt, black pepper, oregano, garlic powder, turmeric, and smoked paprika. To help build the sauce, I used about 4 tomatoes in my base sauté for a nice rich, thick paste and added about 1 cup of pasta water. Finally, I sprinkled some dry parsley flakes to garnish and add a touch of color. Serve hot as a main dinner dish and enjoy! Have a great weekend! 😊
