Honorary Dish of the Day: Cinnamon & Crushed Rosemary Pancakes
Honorary Dish of the Day: More pancakes, anyone?😊Admittedly, we can never, ever get enough of this popular breakfast and brunch dish, so it's no surprise that these beautifully delicious Cinnamon & Crushed Rosemary Pancakes are proudly serving as our honorary dish of the day today! For this recipe, I used a store-bought buttermilk and honey pancake mix to make the batter then elevated the flavor by adding about 1 teaspoon each of cinnamon, pumpkin spice, and aromatic crushed dry rosemary flakes. This was all an experiment as I had never attempted to add herbs to my pancakes before...I am glad the results were absolutely delicious! The rosemary adds a beautiful, flowery aroma and flavor to the pancakes without overpowering other flavors so it blends perfectly well with all the other ingredients...plus, just a little goes a long way! I encourage you to give these mouth-watering pancakes a try sometime for breakfast or weekend brunch and let us know how it goes. Enjoy!
