Honorary Dish of the Day: Flavorful Beef Stew
Honorary Dish of the Day: Our honorary dish of the day today is this Flavorful Beef Stew we recently made for dinner to go along with our Turmeric Basmati Rice Medley. This simple yet utterly delightful stew was so mouth-watering and full of flavor that it has automatically earned a permanent spot on our cooking hall of fame 😋. For this recipe, first sauté 2 pounds of cubed beef with about 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, 1/2 diced onion, 2 tomatoes, 2 sticks of celery, and a blend of frozen peas and carrots. Then, season with 1 teaspoon of crushed fresh ginger and about 1/2 teaspoon each of black pepper, cumin, smoked paprika, and dried rosemary flakes. After adding 3 cups of water and about 1 tablespoon of salt, let this stew simmer under medium heat for about 45 minutes until the meat is fully cooked and tender. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds and serve hot as a side dish with rice (recommended) or starch of your choice. Enjoy!
