Honorary Dish of the Day: Crunchy Potato Wedges

Honorary Dish of the Day: Closing out our week with these simple but delicious Crunchy Potato Wedges as our honorary dish of the day today! These wedges are not only super tasty but are also very versatile as they can be paired with a wide range of accompaniments for any meal including breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, or a simply enjoyed on their own as a snack. I also find them to be a healthier alternative to French fries since they are roasted as opposed to fried. And the cherry on top? Well, they are very easy to prepare and so whenever I develop cravings for French fries, I prefer to make these wedges instead to satiate my appetite. To make this recipe, I first peeled and cut about 4 red potatoes into wedge slices as shown above. I then placed them on a flat baking sheet and seasoned them with some olive oil, smoked paprika, ground black pepper, turmeric, and some salt to taste. I  roasted them in a 400℉ oven for about 27 minutes until they started to acquire their golden-brown hue and then broiled them under a very watchful eye on high heat for about 3 minutes to help create the crunchy exterior. Once done, I served hot as a side dish and paired them with some scrambled eggs for a complete brunch meal. Easy to prepare and delightfully crunchy...these potato wedges truly deliver without demanding too much effort and always come highly recommended. Enjoy and have a great weekend! 😋
